CPA – Affiliate Networks

WE HAVE MOVED!

Please visit our new Drupal Website at https://www.xenyo.com我們的新網頁設計公司網頁.

An old post from our old site, it may or may not be our current view on the topic.

Following from our Guide to Ad networks for Publishers, we review the more popular CPA ad networks or affiliate networks for you so you can decide which to sign up for to increase your revenue.

Affiliate marketing is harder to implement well than CPC or CPM ads which basically is about ad placement/blending and choosing the right ad network.

Affiliate marketing is less about the ad network but more about choosing the product or company you wish to market and selling to your audience.

However, you first need to find these profitable products to market and the easiest and safest way to find them are with the Affiliate Networks, of which we list the major ones below. As each company offers different commission levels and types and different levels of product quality, we can’t emphasis spending some time to research enough. We list Clickbank first as we feel this is a nice beginning network to work with for reasons mentioned below and also it differs slightly from the other affiliate networks:

Clickbank

Clickbank

Clickbank deals in digitally delivered products for example, downloads, sign-ups, e-books, memberships, etc. Because of this, these commissions are usually high (can be up to 75%) and also conversion is not bad as the buyer gets his product immediately. Why we mentioned above regarding this network to be good for beginners is because most Clickbank products are marketed on the advertisers’ landing page which does a lot of the pre-selling for you.

Pre-selling is a process where you get the potential buyer in the right frame of mind to make that buy and as Clickbank deals with digital goods, a good landing page can get those impulse buyers to convert.

Success with Clickbank as with all affiliate marketing depends very much on choosing the right product, targeting the right audience and selling to them well. Clickbank helps in the selling but its important to read through the landing page of the product and make the decision yourself in the shoes of the buyer. Does the landing page make you want to buy the product or report it to the Internet Crime Complaint Center.

There are thousands of products to choose from so take your time and read through and research into what you are marketing.

Payment:

check – min USD10 – ClickBank will withhold the first check to be issued from your account until the payable balance contains sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers, including at least one Visa card, and one MasterCard in order to be eligible to receive a check.

The other affiliate networks we list below are more traditional affiliate networks that aggregate merchants and publishers(affiliates) usually for more established brands. You will need to do some browsing around to find what you are marketing but the below are good places to start.

LinkShare

Sample merchants: Lego, American Express, WalMart

DataFeed: Requires to be in Linkshare Merchandiser Service which requires a $250 setup fee unless you are active in the Network for at least 3 months and have generated at least 50 orders in the most recent calendar month.

Thanks for sharing, it's more than I hoped to find actually. I am currently looking for a publisher network myself but first I needed some guidelines. I know how important affiliate marketing can be for an online business, that's why I am here now, I hope others will realize that as well.
